What Is ECOCERT?

ECOCERT is an independent certification body for organic and natural cosmetics, with a presence in more than 130 countries. It was one of five founding organizations behind the COSMOS standard, an internationally recognized framework for natural and organic cosmetics.  

ECOCERT certification is independent third-party verification, not a self-declared marketing label. When you see the ECOCERT mark on an ARNEUX product, it means the formula and production practices have been assessed against the applicable COSMOS requirements, including criteria for ingredient origin, sourcing, processing, and packaging.

  • Cleansing Systems

    Surfactants vary by formula and WASH contains Sodium Coco-Sulfate in its INCI.

  • Vegan Suitability

    TAME contains wool derived keratin and is not suitable for vegan routines.

The Highest Standard

COSMOS ORGANIC

COSMOS ORGANIC goes beyond natural. At least 95% of plant-based ingredients must be organically produced. The total formula must contain a minimum of 20% organic ingredients (10% for rinse-off). Strict guidelines protect organic integrity from field to formula.

Our full baby line carries this certification, along with select skin, hair, and body products including REST Overnight Cream (42% organic), ROOT Hair Oil (69% organic), NOURISH Body Oil (86% organic—the highest in our range), and BARE Micellar Cleansing Water.
